We are delighted to confirm the full list of appointments to the Committee of One Gloucestershire Health and Wellbeing Partnership.
The Partnership is a statutory Committee established by the NHS Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (NHS Gloucestershire) and Gloucestershire County Council as equal partners and is a key part of our One Gloucestershire Integrated Care System.
The Committee and its development have been informed by The Health and Care Act 2022 and associated national guidance. It brings together NHS, social care, public health and other public,
voluntary and community sector partners to address the needs of the population and address the wider factors that can impact on the health and wellbeing of local people.
The six founding members of the Partnership (representatives from NHS Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire County Council) have been joined by a broad alliance of organisations and representatives from across the county who have considerable knowledge, experience and insight in improving the care, health and wellbeing of the population they serve.
A list of the members can be found here.
The key functions of the Partnership will be to:
- improve outcomes in population health and care
- tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience, and access
- enhance productivity and value for money
- help support broader social and economic development.
